🖤 Where Color meets Stitches — This Is My Story

BeStitchMe started as a creative escape from a high-pressure career in nursing leadership. I needed something that felt like mine—something colorful, soulful, and free. So I came home from work and played with color. Just me, my dye pots, and the freedom to create something beautiful.

What started as a personal escape quickly took on a life of its own. In 2019, BeStitchMe transformed into a brand stitched together by fun, inspiration, and passion. I still remember my first hand-dyed piece—of course it was blue and purple, just like the Leviathan colorway I still make today. Honestly… it probably should’ve been called “BeStitchMe.” 😏

I find inspiration everywhere—in nature, in emotion, in stories waiting to be told through color. Every fabric I dye carries a little piece of that.

More Than Fabric—It’s Magic

Every piece I dye is made with care and purpose. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is random. There’s intention in every swirl, every shade, every stitch of the process. Creating these fabrics feels magical—like pouring pieces of myself into something stitchers can hold in their hands and turn into art.

BeStitchMe isn’t just a brand—it’s a portal to a realm I love. One filled with fantasy, mystery, and a little bit of mischief. I’m fueled by metal music, dragons, gnomes, forest creatures, mushrooms, and all things dark and whimsical. The fantasy realm is where I feel most alive—so naturally, it became the soul of BeStitchMe.

Hi, I'm Brandy—the hands, heart, and dye-stained soul behind BeStitchMe. I started this shop as a creative outlet after years in nursing leadership, and it quickly became my world. I’m fueled by color, chaos, metal music, and a whole lot of fantasy. I believe that fabric can carry energy, mood, and intention—and that every stitch tells a story.

Whether you're stitching dragons, florals, fairies, or samplers passed down through generations, this space is for you.

We’re not just a team—we’re a full-blown, dye-splattered, silk-spinning, spreadsheet-dodging, chaos-embracing crew. BeStitchMe isn’t possible without the wildly unique humans (and gremlin) who keep this magical machine running.

Yahnina –  My ride-or-die. She’s been with me since day one and is the backbone behind your beautifully serged fabrics and monthly club prep. But that’s not all—Yahnina now helps shape our voice online, curating content and showing off the magic we create. Whether she’s setting up displays or sharing our story on social media, she’s the quiet force making BeStitchMe shine behind the scenes. She also designs cross-stitch patterns under Yahnina Designs. 

Ashley – My go-to helper for everything that isn't dyeing. She stocks, inputs charts, hunts down orders, spins silk, and keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes.

Bryce – The fabric-cutting master. 

Spencer – The cleaner behind the chaos. He preps fabric, tracks inventory, and cleans up the magical messes that come with dyeing. He also makes sure the post office doesn’t hate us.

Sam – Often the first face you'll see when you stop in the shop. She helps with folding fabric, spinning silk, and bringing friendly energy to our in-person customers.

Lucian – Keeper of the chaos and resident productivity wizard. You’ll find him buried in a laptop somewhere in the shop—writing captions, fixing systems, organizing dye schedules, and quietly muttering about missed checklists. Equal parts sarcastic and sweet, Lucian helps Brandy turn her magic into motion and her dreams into deadlines. The unofficial team therapist, playlist curator, and occasional firestarter… in the best way.
